Delaware Dance Company is thrilled to present its 40th annual production of “The Nutcracker” on Friday, December 8, 2023, through Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Mitchell Hall on the University of Delaware campus. DDC’s version of this beloved family-friendly ballet is a cherished family tradition. A lively storyline, engaging choreography, and beautiful costuming have made DDC’s production a local favorite. We hope you will make our performance part of your holiday season this year.
On Saturday, December 9 at noon, young audience members are invited to a special “Meet & Greet” with the Nutcracker cast. They will have the opportunity to visit the Party Scene of “The Nutcracker” and have their photo taken with Clara, her Prince, and Drosselmeyer. Guests will also have the chance to meet dancers from the Land of Sweets, collect autographs and photos, and take home a sweet treat reminder of this special event. Tickets for the “Meet & Greet” are $10 and are available at the performance ticket link.
Performances will be held on Friday, December 8 at 7:00 pm; Saturday, December 9 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm; and on Sunday, December 10 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $40 for the main floor, $36 for center balcony and $18 for the side balconies. (Note: seating on side balconies faces center, not the stage.) Seniors and children receive a $5 discount off ticket prices.
