Welcome to Delaware Dance Company’s 2019-2020 Season

Now enrolling for Fall!  Classes begin Wednesday, September 4th!

New to the Dress Code for 2019-2020

Delaware Dance Company is changing from the traditional pink tights for females in ballet to choosing tights that compliment the skin tone of the dancer.

The preferred tights for class for all ballet students in the Pre-Professional Division are Eurotard 210 in the appropriate shade for each dancers’ skin tone. These tights will be required for performance and shoes for performance will be colored to match the tights so that all dancers have a more uniform appearance on stage. For class, students may continue to use previously purchased tights, but all new tights should follow the dress code.

Male dancers in ballet at the Boys Tech 2 level or above are to wear black tights that reach their ankles, smooth white socks that are long enough to cover the top of the black tights and white shoes. The tights must have white elastic attached as suspenders that cross in the back. White dance shirt, dance belt.

Ballet Level 4 through Advanced may wear TEAL OR BLACK leotards. No other colors, minimal adornment.
